The Blue Mussel originally opened in 1962. In 1997, the store was purchased from the original owner, Bea Sweet by Larry Liss, a New England transplant.

Today, the business continues to thrive selling the most beautiful seashells, coral, jewelry and gifts from around the world. Although my trusty dog ” Mulligan” is no longer with us to greet you at the door, my staff and I welcome you to our shop. We are always eager to answer your questions and assist in any way we can.
